In 2014, Shanghai Science and Technology Commission authorized the establishment of “Shanghai Engineering Research Center of Superconductor Material and System”, with Hong Zhiyong serving as the director. In 2020, Shanghai Key Laboratory of High-Temperature Superconductor Materials and Applications was authorized to be established, with Zhu Jiamin serving as the director.
